My name is Nadia Chavez, and I Love JESUS. I have lived my entire life in San Antonio, TX, and I know that God put me on a mission in my hometown and nearby Texas cities. I love serving Him in any capacity. In my life, I want others to see Jesus in me as I show others His love.

I have been married to Isaac for over 20 years, and we have 2 adopted teenage sons. I love spending time with my family, especially traveling together and experiencing God’s beautiful creations. I also love caring for our pets which include a dog, cats, a rabbit, a gecko, and a turtle. I also love to read and cook for my family.

My family and I chose Rockhills as our church home because we support the church’s mission to love God, love others, and help people find and follow Jesus. We have found a family at Rockhills who pray and support others unconditionally.

One of my favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:12. Most people are familiar with Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I love the verse that follows, “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” This verse reminds me of my relationship with our Heavenly Father; that I need to seek Him and pray to Him, and He will listen to me.
